America’s Main Street Party is employing college students to establish a “proof of concept” for a truly free and equal nominating system for United States Congress. Employment is concentrated in Philadelphia, PA.
Work is performed in compliance with FEC regulations. Interns are 1099 subcontractors and paid $25/hour. All content created is public domain.

Conduct market research
Identify target markets
Develop strategy and campaign plan
Raise funds for software development

Define the free and equal nominating process for Constituents, Candidates and Nominating Committee.
Work with software engineering to develop and test the prototype.
Create a simulation to demonstrate how the system will operate.

Develop a detailed project plan identifying the steps necessary to raise money, develop software, get nominees on the general election ballots, and ultimately to become a national political party.

Implement direct marketing program to develop strategic relationships with influencers.
Identify organizations operating in election reform and. target their followers.

The intern will produce content in support of the campaign plan.
Qualifications:
Enrolled second or third year undergraduate student.
Experience creating social media content.
Interest in politics or election reform.
Duties:
Establish social media presence from scratch.
Stay informed on Party activities and adjacent current events.
Create and publish social media content.
Workload: Up to 4 hours per week through the end of the academic year.
